in which i do a flash update

I have been a bit busy lately, but things are going pretty well, which is a lame and vague way of describing things, but my mind has been addled with so many things that it’s hard to think of adjectives to kind of encapsulate everything that has happened since the last update here.

I spent about a week in Bali with my folks, which was an experience that I don’t know how I feel about just yet. I know Bali has a special place in many people’s hearts, but I haven’t decided yet what it means to me.

Tomorrow, I fly back to Manila after a side trip I took to Singapore to see Explosions in the Sky whose show I missed in Manila. I realized that I really want to try living in a country with colder climate.

The heat makes me want to just stay indoors, where it’s nice and cool and shaded. The beach is another story, though.

Anyway, I’ll post some more when I have more time. Today is my last day in Singapore, gah. I’m so sleepy, but I want to go around and get some things, too.
