I don’t think I’ve ever written about this massive trip that I am on! I think it was mostly a decision made so that I wouldn’t jinx it, if ever, but we’re here, so yay. Anyway, we are currently in Paris, France, which has been one of my obsessions when I was younger. I took French 1 and thought about getting a minor en Française but I was too lazy. Alas, my lack of a minor has been obvious with the way French people misunderstand my French. C’est la vie.
To get here, we had to take a plane to Korea, which had straight flights to London. From there, we took the Eurostar to Paris. Funnily enough, we had to wait over 10 hours in the cold, cold station.
This was our sleeping arrangement after hours on a plane.
When the sun came up, we crossed the street to King’s Cross station before boarding the Eurostar to get to Paris.
We dumped our stuff in our hotel room, and on the rest of our first day/afternoon, we went around Champs-Élysées to the Jardins des Tuilieres. But not before stopping by McDonald’s France to see how well their macarons would fare against Ladurée and Pierre Hermé!
They weren’t bad at all. LOL. The vanilla ones taste like their milkshakes and sundaes.
Leaves are turning orange for autumn!
Then we went back the other way to Arc de Triomphe, where we saw the sun set.
The next day, we conquer the Louvre!
