in which i reveal to you my may hong kong trip in little trickles
The sun has completely risen by the time I’ve finished enough work so that I won’t feel as guilty updating this thing. I have horrible backlog, but I’m trying to tell myself that it doesn’t matter that it’s become its stale and irrelevant incarnation, because all I really want when I post is to share what I’ve been up to when I’m not intentionally losing sleep because I’m too swamped. Peksman.
Anyway, here are half-frames from Hong Kong, courtesy of the Olympus Pen EE and a roll of Fuji Velvia 100. It’s weird but it’s really sensitive to light, it seems. I seem to really have to look for a well-lit, somewhat shadow-y area when I use this camera.
1/2 in Manila & 1/2 in Hong Kong.
Be in two places at once.
Be-yoo-tee-ful view outside the Yanga residence!
My dad and I were on a quest for good cameras.
Going to Nathan Road—which turned out to be a bust!
Finally had enough wits about me to make them face the sunlight from the windows.
The last shot of the roll: accidental square exposure!
That is all; I’m going to sleep now.
